Clearr Corporation has several recent developments in LED displays that are innovative, exciting, and very environmentally friendly.
In the middle rear is our proprietary laser-etched light-guide panel, which is now standard in our Vantage® and PlaneLight™ products.
On the right side in the photo are curved LED light-guide panels, one concave and one convex. In the middle front is our EdgeLite®, which we have offered for many years, but it now has new life due to the increased brightness and energy efficiency provided by the LED's.
The two units on the left side are our light-guide panels placed in EdgeLite® fixtures, which for the first time allow backlit graphics to be displayed in a "blade" configuration, with only 1/4" thickness!! See the photo below for a closer view, and an explanation follows beneath:
The unit on the left contains only the panel with no graphic. It is in our recessed fixture, which contains the LED driver, and can be recessed into a fixture or table, or into a wall or ceiling, with only the thin cover plate and the panel being visible.
The unit on the right has a graphic attached, and is in our triangular fixture. Small units like this can sit on a counter without additional mounting hardware. Units on counters that are larger, and/or need to be attached to the counter, take a mounting plate extrusion, which slides onto the bottom, extends slightly forward and back from the base, and can have mounting holes.
This fixture also contains the LED driver, and can be mounted so the panels extend up from tables or counters, out from walls, or down from ceilings. We also have a circular extrusion that accommodates the driver. In addition, we have much smaller and more elegant extrusions available for these purposes, if the user is able to mount remote drivers elsewhere, such as inside store fixtures or behind walls.
I am particularly excited about the "blade" concept. These displays can be up to 2' in height (panel height, not including the base), and unlimited in length, except for small seams every 10-14 feet, due to the limits of materials size, as well as for handling reasons. They can be used as very high-end wayfinding signs, complete with background graphics.
They can also be used to display decorative graphics. One example is as a continuous array of fruits, vegetables, or any other topical items in an upscale supermarket, either overhead or extending from walls, or both. The number of uses is endless.
